The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has officially activated the online registration link for the CUSAT CAT 2026 Registration, inviting applications for its undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated academic programmes for the 2026–27 session. The entrance examination conducted annually as a computer-based test is the primary gateway for admissions to sought-after courses, including B.Tech Integrated, M.Sc., LL.B., M.Sc., MCA, and several professional programmes offered across the university’s campuses. With the exam dates fixed for 9, 10 and 11 May 2026.

KEY INFORMATION

Eligibility Conditions for CUSAT CAT 2026

• B.Tech Programmes: Applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% aggregate in PCM subjects.
• B.Tech Lateral Entry: Applicants should hold a diploma in engineering with the required minimum marks as mentioned in the prospectus.
• Integrated M.Sc. Courses: A minimum of 50% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognised board is mandatory.
• PG Programmes (M.Sc., MCA): Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA.
• Relaxation: SEBC candidates belonging to the non-creamy layer in Kerala are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Steps to Apply Online for CUSAT CAT 2026

• Step 1 > Open the official website admissions.cusat.ac.in and click on “APPLY HERE” to start the registration process.
• Step 2 > Enter basic personal details such as name, mobile number, email ID and date of birth and verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to your registered phone.
• Step 3 > Activate your account using the link received on your email and log in
• Step 4 > Fill out the application form with academic, personal, and category details and upload required documents.
• Step 5 > Pay the application fee online and select your preferred exam centre from the list displayed after payment.
• Step 6 > Click on “Final Submission” and download the confirmation page.
