Candidate Eligibility
The educational qualification and experience requirements differ according to the post, but the general requirements are that applicants must have a bachelor’s degree to apply for several administrative, engineering, and technical positions, and a master’s degree is required for various scientific, geography, economics, zoology, botany, and IT-related posts.
BE or BTech qualifications are required for engineering and technical positions, and LLB or LLM qualifications are required for assistant legal adviser and assistant public prosecutor posts. An MBBS with specialisation in ophthalmology is required for a consultant ophthalmologist, and a PhD qualification is mandatory for associate professor and certain professor-level posts.
